We can send you the free trial version or you can download it on our website. The free trial lasts for 14 days, it is completely free, has all of the features of a bought program and the download does not require a credit card.
The software is offline so you can use it without an internet connection. This is one of the main benefits of Once Video Analyser – you can use it anywhere, no internet connection needed.
Once Video Analyser can open videos on local drive. We recommend that you use a software to download videos for your analysis to your computer.

If you want to run Once Video Analyser on your Apple computer now (with Mac OS X), you first have to install Windows there, and then you can install Once Video Analyser.

You can use mp4, avi, mpeg and mkv video formats. If your video is in some other format, please, convert it. You can read how in our blog here.

Payment can be done according to your preferences – via wire transfer or via online payment with a credit card. You will receive a licence for the activation of the program after the payment.

After the payment, you will receive your licence and the program download link in an email.

Yes. The payment system will send it to you automatically, so you can provide it to your organisation to get a refund.

If you are using a yearly licence, yes. Please contact us at info@once.de and we will send you the instructions for getting the upgrade.

The licence can be activated only on one computer. It can be transferred to another computer after you deactivate it from the first one.
If you need more than one licence, we have team discounts.

The licence can be used on one computer only, and it can be moved from one computer to another.

The Chromakey feature makes your analysis look more attractive by applying a visual effect that helps the added graphic element look more natural by putting it behind the player. Click for video example (10 seconds).

At the moment, it is only possible to have animated graphics in a frame. Meaning, you need to have the video paused to draw on it.

Tagging

You just add a video and click on “Start analysis”. Click for video example (26 seconds).

Just create actions in “Settings” and tag events. There are 4 different ways in which you can tag actions. You can use the regular code buttons, recording mode code buttons, hotkeys and the recording mode, so you can choose which option is the best for your analysis and makes your life the easiest.

You have two options for tagging players:
1) right click on a tagged action, and add a player
2) in recording mode, you can add a player to a selected action.

Yes, it does. You can add Hotkeys in the “Add actions and players” menu. Adding Hotkeys to actions makes the analysis process faster. For example, if you have a Hotkey named “A” that represents “Attacking”, you just click on the letter “A” on your keyboard and the match event is tagged.

You can create a player/action as a name of the part of the pitch you want to analyse and create a list of actions in that part of pitch, ie. “Attacking third”. Then you could select attacking third and see all actions in attacking third.

Yes. This feature of Once Video Analyser allows you to open multiple match analysis along with all of the tagged match events, players and notes.
To do this, go to “Projects” and select the analyses you want to open together, and click “open”.
This is a very helpful feature that makes noticing of patterns easier and raises the overall quality of the analysis.

Yes. You can use a camera with a capture card, or a rtsp/m3u8 stream.

You just need a live video that you can connect to the program by using a m3u8 stream, an rtsp stream or just a camera with a capture card.

Export

You can export videos with drawings and without drawings. You can export your analysis as more clips or merged in one video. If you merge your analysis to one video, you can adjust and sort the video. You can export clips to one folder or to different folders, sorted by match event names.

Yes. You can do this by tagging all of the events that interest you for the statistical analysis and then export the data as an excel file.

You can use a Windows snipping tool or just take a screenshot to get a picture of the drawings you need. Click for video example (25 seconds).

  • Please check if your graphics card driver is updated – it should be 6 months old or newer.
  • Please check the size of your video file. Full HD 2 hours video 1920×1080 should be 4-6 GB and HD Ready 2 hour long videos 1366×768 pixels should be 2-3 GB. The bigger the file is, the longer it will take to convert.

Exporting with drawings is slow because a video with animations needs to be converted 3 times to get exported. That is why exporting with drawings usually takes 3x longer than export without drawings. The speed depends on the speed of your computer. The more powerful the machine, the faster the export.
The ideal specifications are i7, RAM 16GB, SSD disc – they make a 30 second HD video with one drawing getting exported in 10 second.

You will need about 8-10 hours for the course, homework and lectures included.
Usually, we do 2 sessions, in which we do the intro, presentation of the features, presentation of video analysis, homework and the final exam.
Lectures and testing will be done online in English, German, Italian, French, Portuguese, Spanish or Croatian. They will be held via video call by using Zoom, Skype or Google Hangouts.
The certification is free for all Once Video Analyser users and for coaches with a UEFA B licence (or higher). The regular price for other attendees is 50 Euro (+ VAT) and it comes with a free licence to use Once PRO for a month.
To get the date of your certification course, apply for the certification and we will contact you as soon as possible. We know you are busy, so we are flexible and we can arrange the course according to your schedule.

One way to install Windows on an Apple computer is by trying one of the following tools, known as “emulation software”:

B) Boot Camp:
The other easy way to install Windows on a Mac is by using Boot Camp. Boot Camp is installed by default on a Mac if you have versions 10.5 (Leopard), 10.6 (Snow Leopard) or higher.

Please update the drivers from your graphics card.
Please try to open the video with Windows Media Player. If it works normally there, it should also work in Once Video Analyser.

This usually happens when a video is corrupted.
Try to convert video.
If you downloaded the video from the Internet by using some kind of an online tool, you will most likely need to convert it.

Chromakey works based on a particular spectre of the colour green. If the part of the video you are trying to use Chromakey on is not in that spectre, it is unfortunately not going to work.
